AOC Coteaux du Languedoc Pézenas
75% Syrah, 25% Cinsaut
This blend is, in a word, stunning. Christine Mouton Bertoli is a gifted winemaker. Her wines are as wonderful and feminine as she is. This flagship wine has flavors of ripe cherries and mocha balanced with good herbal aromas and good acidity to keep your tastebuds alive and interested. Think of lamb chops with spiced prunes, or Moroccan chicken.
IGP Vallée du Paradis
50% Merlot, 30% Syrah, 20% Grenache Noir
Notes of ripe fruit and wood harmonize in this bold blend of Merlot, Syrah, and Grenache Noir. Firm tannins and a fine structure enhance the warming spiciness. The cooperative donates a portion of sales to protecting biodiversity, including rebuilding the stone wall habitat of the reptilian namesake of this stunning cuvée—Timon Lepidus.
