This is an everyday, super drinkable Sauvignon Blanc outside of the normal New World taste profile. The wine is made within walking distance of our home by a very handsome young winemaker, Benoit Gombert. His family estate is on an old pilgrim route from Rome to Compostella in Spain and there is a chapel where pilgrims could rest right next to the winemaking cave. The grapes grown here have been kissed by the warm South of France sun giving this wine a lively, refreshing, delightful and expressive character. No grassy flavors here! Enjoy on its own or with cheese, veggie dips and chicken salad. This is a crowd pleaser; novices and professional tasters alike love it!
