The name translates as "the naughty one". With its fruitiness, hints of strawberries, plums and spicy anecdotes, this wine offers itself for a light and easy affair. But beware, appearances can be deceptive, his full-bodied rounded flavour promises a lot more than just a fling.

Wine Profile
Vineyard Notes
Malepere is one of the coolest winegrowing areas in the Languedoc-Roussillon because it is in the foothills of the Pyrenees Mountains.   Therefore, the wines have great freshness and acidity but are kissed by the generous South of France sun. Domaine La Louvière sits atop a high hill which was an old wolf gathering site. The views from there are stunning. This location gets both warm Mediterranean breezes and the cooling influences of the Atlantic across the Pyrenees.
Production Notes
Stainless steel tanks
Winemaker Notes
The winemaker is Jem Harris from Australia, part of the wonderful Renaissance of winemaking in the Languedoc-Roussillon. He brings New World sensibilities but with respect for the best of the Old-World traditions.
Food Pairing Notes
Grilled lamb if you are cooking, but if you're chillin', great to go with pizza and pasta and a great night of sharing with friends!
