Job: Director of Operations and Finance. Rachael oversees day-to-day operations, financial management, implementation of marketing strategy, interfaces with wine club members and creates general excitement and enthusiasm for wine lovers.
Bio: Rachael has spent the last 18 years working in the legal field in Seattle, Washington, first as a paralegal and then the last 12 years at the law firm founded by Carol Bailey as Firm Administrator responsible for developing and maintaining all policies and procedures of the law firm and managing the finances of the firm. When Rachael learned about the adventure that would become The Princess and The Bear she jumped at the chance to be part of it and contribute her organizational, financial and personal skills. Rachael lives in Arlington, Washington, with her husband Rob and they can regularly be found with their horses competing at various barrel races across the American West. Rachael enjoys spending time with her family, gardening and, of course, tasting wine!
Ioana Cosmina Bucur, FWS
Job: Head of Logistics & Warehouse Manager. Ioana manages our customer care, warehouse, shipping, wine club memberships and wine tasting events.
Bio: Ioana earned certification as a French Wine Scholar from the Northwest Wine Academy in Seattle. She is continuously studying, improving her skills in sensory evaluation, wines of the world, and issues concerning the wine industry and wine distribution. She also has a certificate in Tourism and Hospitality from Edmonds Community College.
On a personal level, Ioana is an artsy and colorful citizen of the world, with a bubbly sense of humor and an infectious laugh. Her passions are the science of oenology and the magic of thoughtful traveling.
