An elegant blend of three different grapes, this pale yellow wine presents a soft, round and generous palate with lingering pineapple flavors finishing with a hint of lemon sorbet. The intense aroma has notes of tropical fruit, ripe citrus, red apple and appealing white flower.  With a well balanced acidity, the wine has a fresh and lively feel.

Pair this bright wine with trout roasted with fennel; pasta with spring vegetables; BBQ prawns with garlic butter; or lemon and herb risotto.

Wine Profile
Vineyard Notes
The rugged Cevennes mountains overlook these vineyards, sending cool winds during the summer and slowing the maturation of the grapes. The longer the grapes hang on the vine the more this increases flavor and complexity. The soil is calcareous (chalky), stony clay. The Viognier parcel is at higher elevations with greater sun exposure during the day and cooler temperatures at night. The Vermentino parcel sits on a cooler northwest-facing slope with less sun, allowing the grapes to retain their freshness and typicity.
Production Notes
The grapes are fermented in tanks at 59°F
Winemaker Notes
Terre des 2 Sources began with two couples who shared a dream — to find the best land and wine-growing environment and to craft exceptional wines. The foursome realized their dream with an estate on high elevation just south of the Cevennes mountains with a rich diversity of soils, slopes, aquatic features and climate. Kirsten Creasy is the winemaker, and her husband Glen manages the vineyards. Kirsten has a long and successful career making wines in different places throughout the world. She is native to New Zealand and has made wines there as well as in Australia and France. She is part of the Languedoc renaissance making her own wine in this special terroir.
