AOP Languedoc - Grés de Montpellier
50% Syrah, 50% Grenache
This Syrah, Grenache blend has a deep garnet color and aromas of black pepper and blackberry, followed by a hint of licorice. The grape varieties join forces to offer an ample, earthy wine, with grippy but pleasant tannins, flavors of baking spices and ripened cherries, and a beautiful length on the palate.
IGP St Guilhem Le Desert
80% Carignan, 20% Syrah
Carignan lends this elegant wine freshness and a rich, garnet color. Syrah imparts lovely, fine tannins on the palate. Complex aromas entice with spice, violets, dried plums and dark chocolate. The generous mouthfeel enhances the lingering fruit, spice and cocoa flavours.
AOP Saint Chinian
60% Syrah, 20% Mourvèdre, 20% Grenache
Acutum is powerful and concentrated, yet smooth. Smokiness on the nose with aromas of prunes, cherries, and licorice. It is full and elegant on the mouth, with notes of slightly roasted ripe fruits, and hints of mocha and blackberries. This is a wine to be laid down (a “vin de garde”).
AOP Minervois
70% Syrah, 30% Grenache
This Syrah-dominant, organic red shines like a ruby with pink cherry highlights. The taste is complex but not heavy and laced with aromas of blackberry and wild herbs of the garrigue. Black pepper and licorice are present as well. A silky mouthfeel and elegant, soft tannins balance the pleasant intensity.
AOP Saint Chinian
40% Mourvèdre, 30% Grenache Noir, 30% Syrah
This organic blend of Mourvèdre, Grenache and Syrah enchants with deep red fruit on the palate followed by delicate herbs and spices and a rich finish. Tannins are firm, yet velvety. Made by a leading lady of Languedoc winemaking, Laurence Jougla, whose family vineyards are abundant in diverse soils, imbuing her wines with beautiful richness and softness.
AOP Minervois
40% Grenache, 30% Cinsault, 20% Syrah, 10% Carignan
This organic, Grenache dominant red blend has an expressive nose with aromas of ripe fruit. The mouth is generous but without excess. It offers a beautiful delicacy, clear and precise, and concludes with a smooth long finish.
AOP Minervois La Livinière
100% Grenache Noir
A sensuous, rich, velvety, generous wine that seems to offer everything at a glance. Under the blood red robe are hidden all the tender secrets of Andalusia nights, a feria of aromas and spice, complex and alluring. Aged in tank and bottle, no oak because the wine is already so complex! The winemaker says "Be patient with this beauty and in 5 or 10 years it’s a gypsy dream that you’ll see dancing under Seville moonlight in your glass."
AOP Languedoc Montpeyroux
50% Syrah, 40% Grenache, 10% Counoise
Coming from the oldest vines in the estate this wine is supple and powerful. Aromas of complex spices, black fruits, and garrigue and a palate full of minerality and depth with lovely freshness and a long finish. Bleu Velours is distinctive and eminently drinkable.
AOP Minervois
80% Syrah, 20% Grenache Noir
A beautifully concentrated Syrah-Grenache Noir blend redolent of Southern France with aromas of black fruit, spice, leathery notes and elegant integrated oak flavors. This beauty is full-bodied, well textured and opulent with a fine, smooth finish. Power, finesse and length are the dominant characteristics of this refined cuvée.
AOP Terrasses Du Larzac
43% Syrah, 42% Grenache, 15% Carignan
This red blend of Syrah, Grenache and Carignan fills the mouth without being heavy. Aromatic notes of cassis and hints of leather blend with rosemary, thyme and other fragrant herbs of the garrigue. The palate is fine and rich with soft tannins and a round finish. Rated 91 points by Decanter!
AOP Saint Chinian
90% Carignan, 10% other red grapes
Carissimo bends the rules with this blend of 90% Carignan and 10% whatever other red grapes the winemaker wanted to add. With aromas of roasted cacao followed by flavors of red fruits, like red currants and cranberries, and hints of spices, this wine will get your attention. It has an elegant mouthfeel with fine tannins, a beautiful acidity and a fresh and delicate finish.
AOP Cotes Du Roussillon Villages Tautavel
90% Carignan, 10% Grenache Noir
This organic, Carignan-dominant red was awarded 90 points by Robert Parker. A supple, easy-drinking cuvée, the mouth is full-bodied and ripe with red fruit. The mild tannins are similar in feel to ground cinnamon. An expressive nose of cherries and red plums balances with a lingering mineral finish, without any overt oak character.
