This well made rosé has the allure of crushed strawberries and raspberries and a hint of lemon flowers and leaves.  In your mouth the wine has a zesty, bright freshness and nice full mouth feel.

Excellent with fettuccine carbonara! Will also go perfectly with grilled sardines, a cod steak in a creamy bechamel sauce or a fresh goat cheese salad.

Wine Profile
Vineyard Notes
In total there are 34 hectares of vines that include seventeen different varieties. The vineyards tend to be on gentle to moderate slopes with an elevation of almost 200 meters in the foothills of the Cevennes Mountains. The oldest vines were planted in 1955, with intensive plantings in the early 1970s and steady re-developments in the mid 1980s through to 2008. With such a diverse collection of vine ages, varieties, parcels and training systems, uniform management is out of the question! Therefore each parcel's characteristics have to be considered when deciding on how best to manage the vines.
Production Notes
Managing the vines at Terre des 2 Sources is all about balance - finding the right balance between soil, rainfall, temperatures, vine growth and grape production. When the balance is right, all is in harmony, resulting in healthy soils, happy vines, and beautiful, ripe fruit and quality wines of distinction. For this rosé the grapes were harvested and pressed in the early hours of the morning to help preserve the delicate aromas and color. Fermented in the tank at around 12 C followed by regular lees stirring to add weight to the palate.
Winemaker Notes
Terre des 2 Sources began with two couples who shared a dream — to find the best land and wine-growing environment and to craft exceptional wines. The foursome realized their dream with an estate on high elevation just south of the Cevennes mountains with a rich diversity of soils, slopes, aquatic features and climate. Kirsten Creasy is the winemaker, and her husband Glen manages the vineyards. Kirsten has a long and successful career making wines in different places throughout the world. She is native to New Zealand and has made wines there and in Australia and France. She is surely thrilled to be part of the Languedoc Renaissance making her own wine in this special terroir.
Food Pairing Notes
