This Syrah-dominant blend is velvety, yet fresh and offers an entrancing perfume of violet, bergamot, and cherry. The silky mouthfeel layered with red cherry and blackberry is refreshed by orange zest, and a hint of vanilla and eucalyptus. Resolves with wafts of balsamic and iris flower and a surprise note of brioche. The vineyards are maintained using responsible viticulture and are Terra Vitis certified. Made by the award-winning winemaker Diane Losfelt.

Quetton Saint Georges shines with Duck Breast with Prunes and quality cuts of beef cooked on the grill. It’s also a delight with red berry crumble.

Wine Profile
Vineyard Notes
This wine is a signature cuvée of the specific pebble soil terroir of Saint Georges d'Orques near Montpellier. Salinity and freshness are enhanced in the 2016 vintage. The domaine is certified Terra Vitis. This means the winery practices organic, sustainable farming, limiting inputs and interventions while respecting both the earth and the people who live and work nearby.
Production Notes
For 12 months, approximately half of the wine is aged in French oak barrels followed by 10 months in stainless steel tanks for the entire blend.
Winemaker Notes
Diane Losfelt has been the owner and winemaker at Chateau de l'Engarran for more than 30 years. Her guiding principles for creating her wines are authentic terroirs, elegance and, above all, personality. Her wines embody strong character and high style — like the winemaker herself! The winery operates in a 17th century chateau with a romantic, formal French garden surrounded by 60 hectares of vineyards.
Food Pairing Notes
Quetton Saint Georges shines with Duck Breast with Prunes and quality cuts of beef cooked on the grill. It’s also a delight with red berry crumble.
