This is your chance to visit the little-known Languedoc region, explore the vineyards and wineries and taste the delicious south of France cuisine. The Romans colonized the Languedoc over 2,000 years ago, planted grape vines and made wines that were shipped all over the Roman Empire in Amphora made from the Languedoc earth.

During your stay you will explore the vineyards and taste delicious Languedoc wines, take an oyster boat cruise, enjoy a sea food lunch and visit an beautiful abbey with a wine secret..!

This 3-night wine & food holiday based in magical Carcassonne will help you uncover the fascinating story of the Cathars and the siege that took place in Languedoc 800 years ago. During your stay in the undiscovered South of France you will visit some of the Cathar castles as well as meet the wine makers who make your favorite Languedoc wines and taste the delicious Languedoc cuisine.
