Winemaker Notes
Chateau La Baronne stands out as a winemaking estate that is beyond: beyond organic and beyond traditional methods of vinification. The Ligneres family’s connections to the wine world go back to the 16th century. La Baronne estate lies at the foot of the Alaric Mountain. Andre Ligneres, the local village general practitioner and Suzette his wife, a pharmacist purchased it in 1957. The estate is managed now by their son Jean, who is also the village doctor in Moux like his father, and his wife Anne, who makes their organic, natural wines in clay and oak amphorae.
Food Pairing Notes
Le Chemins brings a pleasing balance to a variety of spiced dishes including those drawn from Moroccan, Spanish, Indian, and Asian cuisine.
