This organic, biodynamic red is a robust mélange of herb and spice. The blend of Carignan and Grenache Noir expresses character and complexity with black fruit, black currant, plums, and hints of leather and licorice. Enjoy the long spicy finish.

This hearty cuvée is a perfect companion to boar, game, steaks and hard cheeses. Decant one hour in advance for optimal tasting.

Wine Profile
Vineyard Notes
The domaine is situated in the foothills of the Cévennes on the famous shiste slopes of Faugères. At altitudes between 300 and 400 metres, these rocky vineyards create wines that are concentrated yet fresh, perfect for the low intervention, biodynamic and organic practices at the heart of Domaine des Trinités winemaking.
Production Notes
Organic and biodynamic agriculture is practiced. Harvesting and winemaking are timed in accordance with the lunar cycle calendar.
Winemaker Notes
Located on the prized shiste slopes of Faugères, Domaine des Trinités is an artisanal winery specializing in organic and biodynamic wines that express the unique terroir of the region. Simon Coulshaw is a highly regarded natural winemaker. His wines are celebrated by the likes of Jancis Robinson, the famous wine reviewer and scholar. A confirmed “terroirist,” Simon believes that wine quality depends on the quality of the grape which in turn relies on soil, weather, geography, and a host of additional environmental factors unique to the region. Simon’s long-time passion for wine is shared by his father, who was raised in France and schooled in the culture of wine.
Food Pairing Notes
This hearty cuvée is a perfect companion to boar, game, steaks and hard cheeses.

Ageability: Drink now or keep at least until 2025. We recommend decanting this wine as a slight sediment is to be expected in this style of wine.
